Our First Week!! :)

We have been busy learning and having fun while doing it. :) This week in Reading, we have been reviewing our letter sounds, practicing blending words, and reviewing our Kindergarten sight words.  We also have been reviewing how to write sentences and reading a variety of back to school stories.  In Math, we have been practicing how to add numbers up to 10 and in Science we have been learning about our 5 senses.  Check out all our fun below. :)

Sight Word Centers

My Mouth is a Volcano :)  We read this story to help us learn how to stop ourselves from blurting out.  First, we listened to the story, then we did a class sort, next we brainstormed ways on how to help us from blurting out, and last we made a craft and did some writing.  The kiddos did great!! :)

 We also made volcanoes in our classroom today.  The kiddos loved it!!! :)
